BRETT HENSCHELL is Director and Owner of HENSCHELL CRICKET ACADEMY PTY LTD.

Brett is a former First Class Cricketer who played for Queensland from 1981-1991.  He played 66 First Class matches and 17 List A matches during his career, scoring 3010 runs, with 5 centuries and 14 half centuries, and took 95 wickets bowling off spin.  He was awarded an Esso scholarship to England in 1984 and was chosen in the Prime Minister’s X1 in 1986. 

Brett played Brisbane Grade Cricket for Valleys from 1979-2001, playing no other grade other than First Grade during his entire 213 match career, accumulating 7759 runs, with 11 centuries, and took 357 wickets.  At the time of his retirement, he was the leading First Grade run scorer at Valleys and second on the wicket takers list.  Adding in his compulsory two season stint with Brisbane Colts in the early 1980’s, Brett scored 8781 runs, with 18 centuries, to be the leading First Grade run scorer in the history of Brisbane Grade Cricket at the time.  

Brett was made a Life Member of Valleys in 1997, awarded the Australian Sports Medal for services to cricket in 2000, served as President of the Kenmore Junior Cricket Club from 2003-2007 and made a Life Member of Kenmore in 2008.

Brett is a Level 3 High Performance Cricket Australia Accredited Coach.  This accreditation gives him the credentials to apply for any coaching position in world cricket.  Whilst he is a widely experienced and much sought after coach in both junior and senior ranks, his passion is in the junior sphere.  A number of local juniors have already benefited from Brett’s style of coaching to reach representative honours and the opportunity exists for many more players to take advantage of his knowledge and experience to advance their game.

MARK FLETCHER is a senior coach at HENSCHELL CRICKET ACADEMY PTY LTD. 

Mark has been with the company since inception in July 2008 and is the right hand man to Director and Owner, Brett Henschell, often managing company activities whilst Brett is away on interstate and overseas coaching assignments.

Mark is a Level 2 Representative Cricket Australia Accredited Coach.  This accreditation gives him the credentials to apply for coaching roles in high performance levels of cricket, Brisbane Grade Clubs, district squad programs and representative teams.  Fortunately, his passion is in the junior sphere where he is a well known and well regarded coach in the western and south-western suburbs of Brisbane enabling young players to benefit from his coaching abilities.

Mark has actively coached every year since 2003, taking teams from Kenmore Junior Cricket Club, Brisbane Boys College, St Peters Lutheran College, Nudgee Junior College/Ambrose Treacy College and St Laurence's College across all age groups up to Second X1 level.  He is currently a team coach at St Laurence's College.  

Mark is also an active cricket player.  He is a member of the Brookfield United Cricket Club competing in the Brisbane Sub Districts competition and has toured five times with the Brookfield Brumbies to the Golden Oldies carnivals in New Zealand (2), Hawaii, South Africa and Barbados.

Mark has held committee positions with Kenmore Junior Cricket Club, 2000-2009, and Brookfield United, 2010-present, where he is currently Vice President.

GARY JONES is a senior coach at HENSCHELL CRICKET ACADEMY PTY LTD.

Gary has been coaching with the company since 2013 and achieved his Level 2 Representative Cricket Australia Coach Accreditation in 2016.  This accreditation gives him the credentials to apply for coaching roles in high performance levels of cricket, Brisbane Grade Clubs, district squad programs and representative teams.  Fortunately, his passion is in the junior sphere.

Gary takes intermediate and senior age groups at Holiday Clinics, has been part of many specialist coaching events, and assists with Personal Coaching when demand requires.  He commenced team coaching duties in 2020, taking the MSW U15 White team, and is currently a team coach at Brisbane Boys College.

Gary has long had an association with the game as a player and official.  He achieved First X1 selection for three years at school, played District Cricket at Moree and Goondiwindi, and toured with the Brookfield Brumbies to the Golden Oldies carnival in New Zealand.  Gary was also an assistant coach and team manager with the Kenmore Junior Cricket Club 2003-11.

Gary is a well respected coach in the western and south-western suburbs of Brisbane and valued member of the HCA coaching team.

KIERAN DAYMON is a senior coach at HENSCHELL CRICKET ACADEMY PTY LTD.

Kieran came to Henschell Cricket Academy Pty Ltd as a student and attended a number of Holiday Clinics and Personal Coaching Sessions during his school and University years.   

Kieran has been coaching with the company since 2012 and achieved his Level 2 Representative Cricket Australia Coach Accreditation in 2016.  This accreditation gives him the credentials to apply for coaching roles in high performance levels of cricket, Brisbane Grade Clubs, district squad programs and representative teams.  Fortunately, his passion is in the junior sphere.

Kieran takes intermediate and senior age groups at Holiday Clinics, has been part of many specialist coaching events, and assists with Personal Coaching when demand requires.  He commenced team coaching duties in 2013, was coach of the MSW U12 State Championship team in December 2016, coach of the MSW U13 State Championship team in December 2017 and coach of the South Brisbane District Cricket Club Lord's Taverners team 2019/20.  Kieran was the MSW Junior Director of Coaching 2018-21 and is currently MIC Cricket at Ipswich Grammar School.

Kieran started junior cricket at a later age than most but quickly displayed his talent as a fast bowler, playing for Kenmore Junior Cricket Club 2006-8 and St Peters Lutheran College 2009-12, achieving First X1 selection in 2011.  He played Grade Cricket for South Brisbane District Cricket Club, achieving First Grade selection in 2018/19, after a stint with Western Suburbs District Cricket Club, and would dearly have you believe he is a top order batsman.

Kieran is a well respected coach in the western and south-western suburbs of Brisbane and valued member of the HCA coaching team.

ANGUS STOCKLEY is a senior coach at HENSCHELL CRICKET ACADEMY PTY LTD.
Angus came to Henschell Cricket Academy Pty Ltd as a student and attended many Holiday Clinics and Personal Coaching Sessions during his school years.    

Angus has been coaching with the company since 2012 and gained his Level 1 Cricket Australia Coach Accreditation the same year.  He takes intermediate and senior age groups at Holiday Clinics and has been part of many specialist coaching events.  Angus undertook team coaching duties at Ambrose Treacy College from 2013 to 2019.  

Angus was an impressive junior cricketer, playing for Western Suburbs Junior Cricket Club in 2004 before moving to Kenmore Junior Cricket Club 2005-10.  He played First X1 for St Peters Lutheran College 2010-12 after being named SPLC Player of the Year from the 13As in 2008. 

Angus is a well respected coach in the western and south-western suburbs of Brisbane and valued member of the HCA coaching team.

BRANDON ZIEGENFUSS is a senior coach at HENSCHELL CRICKET ACADEMY PTY LTD.
Brandon came to Henschell Cricket Academy Pty Ltd as a student and attended a number of Holiday Clinics during his school years. 

Brandon has been coaching with the company since 2012 and gained his Level 1 Cricket Australia Coach Accreditation the same year.  He takes intermediate and senior age groups at Holiday Clinics and has been part of many specialist coaching events.  Brandon undertook team coaching duties at St Peters Lutheran College 2013 to 2019.

Brandon played junior cricket in South Africa 2002-7 before immigrating to Australia in 2008 and playing for Kenmore Junior Cricket Club 2008-9 and St Peters Lutheran College 2009-12, achieving Second X1 selection in 2011 and 2012.

Brandon is a well respected coach in the western and south-western suburbs of Brisbane and valued member of the HCA coaching team.

HUGH STOCKLEY is a senior coach at HENSCHELL CRICKET ACADEMY PTY LTD.
Hugh came to Henschell Cricket Academy Pty Ltd as a student and attended many Holiday Clinics and Personal Coaching Sessions during his school years.    

Hugh has been coaching with the company since 2014 and gained his Level 1 Cricket Australia Coach Accreditation the same year.  He takes intermediate and senior age groups at Holiday Clinics and has been part of many specialist coaching events.  Hugh undertook team coaching duties at St Peters Lutheran College and Ambrose Treacy College from 2014 to 2019.

ISAAC TRIGAR is a senior coach at HENSCHELL CRICKET ACADEMY PTY LTD.
Isaac came to Henschell Cricket Academy Pty Ltd as a student and attended a number of Holiday Clinics and Personal Coaching Sessions during his school years. 

Isaac gained his Level 1 Cricket Australia Coach Accreditation in 2014 and began coaching with the company the following year.  He takes intermediate and senior age groups at Holiday Clinics, has been part of specialist coaching events and began team coaching duties in 2017.  Isaac has been the SEQ Junior Director of Coaching since 2018 and is currently a team coach at St Laurence's College. 

Isaac was an outstanding junior cricketer, representing SEQ Zone U12-U16, played First X1 at St Laurence's College and made the Queensland U19 team in 2016.  He played Grade Cricket for Ipswich Logan Cricket Club, achieving First Grade selection in 2018/19.

Isaac is a well respected coach in the western and south-western suburbs of Brisbane and valued member of the HCA coaching team.

MATTHEW SHIPP is a Level 1 coach at HENSCHELL CRICKET ACADEMY PTY LTD.
Matthew came to Henschell Cricket Academy Pty Ltd as a student and attended a number of Holiday Clinics and Personal Coaching Sessions during his school years.  He still attends Personal Coaching Sessions as an active player.

Matthew gained his Level 1 Cricket Australia Coach Accreditation in 2015 and began coaching with the company the same year.  He takes junior and intermediate age groups at Holiday Clinics and has been part of specialist coaching events.  Matthew undertook team coaching duties at St Peters Lutheran College and Ambrose Treacy College from 2016 to 2019.

Matthew played junior cricket for Kenmore Junior Cricket Club 2009-10 and St Peters Lutheran College 2011-16, achieving First X1 selection  2015-16.  He continues on the journey, playing Sub District Cricket for Brookfield United Cricket Club as an allrounder. 

Matthew is an up and coming coach and valued member of the HCA coaching team.

THOMAS STOCKS is a Level 1 coach at HENSCHELL CRICKET ACADEMY PTY LTD.
Tom came to Henschell Cricket Academy Pty Ltd as a student and attended a number of Holiday Clinics during his school years. 

Tom gained his Level 1 Cricket Australia Coach Accreditation in 2017 and began coaching with the company the same year.  He takes junior and intermediate age groups at Holiday Clinics and has been part of specialist coaching events.  Tom undertook team coaching duties at St Peters Lutheran College and Ambrose Treacy College from 2017 to 2020.

Tom played junior cricket for Wolston Park Centenary Cricket Club before playing for St Peters Lutheran College, reaching Second X1.  He continues on the journey, playing Sub District Cricket for Brookfield United Cricket Club as a leg spinning allrounder.

Tom is an up and coming coach and valued member of the HCA coaching team.

SAM ARNOTT is a Level 1 coach at HENSCHELL CRICKET ACADEMY PTY LTD.
Sam came to Henschell Cricket Academy Pty Ltd as a student and attended a number of Holiday Clinics and Personal Coaching Sessions during his school years.  He still attends Personal Coaching Sessions as an active player.

Sam has been coaching with the company since 2017 and gained his Level 1 Cricket Australia Coach Accreditation in 2018.  He takes junior and intermediate age groups at Holiday Clinics and has been part of specialist coaching events.  Sam undertook team coaching duties at Ambrose Treacy College from 2017 to 2019.

Sam played junior cricket for Western Suburbs Junior Cricket Club 2006-11 before playing for St Peters Lutheran College 2011-16, achieving First X1 selection 2016.  He continues on the journey, playing Grade Cricket for Western Suburbs District Cricket Club as a fast bowler.

Jack was an impressive junior cricketer, representing Brisbane North Zone U12-U16, played Lord's Taverners for Western Suburbs District Cricket Club in 2018 and First X1 for Ambrose Treacy College in 2019.  He continues on the journey, playing Grade Cricket for Western Suburbs District Cricket Club as an allrounder.

REYNHARDT SMIT is a Level 1 coach at HENSCHELL CRICKET ACADEMY PTY LTD.

Reynhardt came to Henschell Cricket Academy Pty Ltd as a student and attended a number of Holiday Clinics and Personal Coaching Sessions during his school years.

Reynhardt gained his Level 1 Cricket Australia Coach Accreditation in 2018 and began coaching with the company the following year.  He takes junior age groups at Holiday Clinics, has been part of specialist coaching events, and commenced team coaching duties in 2018.  Reynhardt is currently a team coach at Ipswich Grammar School.
